Mulberry Lane Farm – Sherwood

This past weekend, Alex and I took the kids to Mulberry Lane Farm in Sherwood WI which is about 40 mins South of Green Bay.  I had picked up some Groupons awhile back which covered our admission and realized they were getting ready to expire, so I checkout their current events and they were having the Pumpkin Blossom Festival which really made me want to go….that and the enticing offer of a free slice of Amish pumpkin pie!

We arrived at the farm and were greeted by a very nice gal who filled us in on what to expect.  Once we were parked, we made are way to the farm house and met with a tour guide, Farmer Abby who took us on a walking tour for about an hour to check out all of the animals.

The kids had the chance to catch a chicken, play with goats and sheep, kiss a pig, see some beautiful baby cows, ride a pony, milk a cow and even go on a hay ride of the farm.  There was so much to do and see, I think we could have spent the entire day if time would have allowed for it!

After we were done with our tour of the farm and we did some looking around on our own.  Alexander found a new place to call home.

He had A LOT of fun and so did Zack and Libby. (They are already making plans to go back next year!).

After we were done scoping out the farm, we made our way to the barn to indulge in some very good Amish pumpkin pie, so good that I purchased 2 additional pies to take home! Once we were done with the pie, we made our way down to the granary to check out the gift shop and pick up the kids souvenir cups and paid for the kids to each pick a pumpkin from the patch, in addition to picking up a cute t-shirt for Alexander.

Mulberry Lane Farm’s Fall Season begins on September 23rd and ends October 31st. They are open 7 days a week starting at 10am. Monday thru Friday, the last admission to enter the farm and last tour departure is at 1PM on Saturdays and Sundays the last tour departs at 3PM.
